Nice find/purchase!

Quite the fleet you're building - how many cars are you up to now?

I am thinking about picking up a Honda D-series for this when i get back to the states.

its cheap, reliable, lighter than a 1275, and has more power.

Ive been thinking about it for a while so its a high possibility. the whole car will be pretty standard Mk1 looks, with a D-series.

thoughts?

I have thought about the B16, but i cannot find an affordable one. I can pick up a D-series with tranny and ecu for about 250 bux.

Besides, i dont need that much power in my classic. Its really just a cruiser. I am already going to have a 350whp mini haha.

My old classic had about 100hp and that was plenty of power. So i think a little D would be totally fine.

your old civic was probably not running the same D-series i would be running, which is rated at 125 hp.

there are a ton of different d-series engines.

I was actually thinking just a lightly built D with ITB's not huge power, but more or high reving cool engine
