Chip, that's so cool that he's already out enjoying a hobby you love. It's always great to see someone start something like this at such a young age.

As for scooters... hmmm, I guess they're close

Rev, the CB is looking good! I tinkered with the XS400 some today and got it running pretty smooth. It's much easier to ride knowing it will idle at stops and not sputter under 3k RPM. In the week I've owned it I've taken it out multiple times and logged over 100 miles. Not much for some, but getting out almost daily has been great for me as a new rider.

Someday I'll get enough time to put the boxes of my 68 BSA Thunderbolt back together. *Le sigh

Owning an older vehicle sure has its ups and downs! I decided to ride the Yamaha to work yesterday for the first time. I got within 100 yards of work when the rear brake locked up. Figures... I've done a couple hundred miles of riding on back roads and the first time I actually need to be somewhere is when I have a problem. In case you haven't tried it before, pushing a bike backward in traffic at a stop light with the rear brake locked up is a REALLY good workout. Looks like I've got some sort of blockage in the rear master cylinder preventing fluid from travelling back to the reservoir, building pressure in the line, and sticking the rear brake. Hopefully it's something that can be cleaned and won't require a rebuild, because parts are no longer available anywhere for this master cylinder. Yay!

lmao, I can't even imagine. They're heavy enough trying to push them without having a brake locked up

Ultimate hoon machine. Talked to a group of 6 guys on Groms from FL at Deal's Gap, and they were having a blast. They said they don't even bring big bikes there anymore

Nice! I saw a video on youtube of some guys on Deals Gap with Groms. I am not a motorcycle rider and what something that is just fast enough to get up on the freeway for short periods and really just to tool around town.

the grom is a blast around town. i have yet to take it through the canyons, but after i get more riding time and a suit, i'll definitely give it a try.

it's definitely an attention getter and everyone, and i mean everyone, seems to love it. i'm always chatting with others at the light. there's definitely a grom fever.

here's a fun vid showcasing the grom

Drug the 748 out of the corner and blew the cobwebs off for Talladega GP Sunday. Please let the weather hold out, poor thing has been garage art for too long

All of these classic Hondas in here. You guys should really check out J. Webster Designs. He's got a fuel injection setup with ITB's, And some seriously cool mods done.

He also makes an oil pressure gauge adapter that is pretty sweet looking.
