motorcycle helmets will cut it for SCCA competition... but there's the whole "how much is your head worth" bs... use a loaner at first if you arent sure you'll like it, then try soloracer.com. pyrotect is the same helmet at bell, just less expensive. i've got a bell, my fiance has a pyrotect.

dsp? I've ran fsp with my cooper all season.

scca sts: http://www.moutons.org/sccasolo/Rule...t_touring.html

there's no mention of end links nor rear lower control arms being against the rules but definitely no rear sway bar upgrades.
x lites are 16x6.5

huh?

"Any anti-sway bar is permitted"

also, the SCCA redid their classes last year. coopers are no longer in STS, they're in ST (they just renamed the classes). STS is now for 2 seater cars like the miata.

big pdf, but this is a better link
http://cms.scca.com/documents/Solo_R...Solo_Rules.pdf

the ST classes basically allow any suspension mods but stick you with street tires and certain size wheel/tire combos
