Default Cinco de Mayo autocross

Getting ready for the Cinco de Mayo autocross at Coors Field. After too stiff rear swaybar disaster last time, I've got the H-comp bar set at the softest setting (anyone want to trade for an H-sport?) AND a new set of Falken Azzinis are being mounted today.

Are any other m|u ers coming out for the event?

I hear yeah on too much rear swaybar... that reminds me of the time I stayed in the throttle too long and nearly took out a set of timing lights (at Coors field)

Oooooo ..... I hear those timing lights are kinda pricey. is right!

I sent Mark F. a PM inviting him to co-drive at one of the BMW autocrosses like he did with you in San Diego. He thinks he may be able to make it to the late Sept event.

Default Denver Autocross, Sept 22 2007

Results have been posted to the BMW Club website.

An interesting thing about this autocross is that Randy Webb and Kelly Petersen co-drove Randy's 2007 Cooper S as a warm up for the upcomming nationals where they will both be driving Randy's car. Randy's wife, Vicky, did a fine job of driving Kelly's car.

https://www.rmcbmwcca.org/

I don't think there were any photographers on site but if any picture pop up I'll post a link.

So... Can anyone here enlighten me on any specifics of the next event on Oct 13th.

I went to the site but I wanted to see if you guys had any personal suggestions on what to do for the event. I am already pretty used to different AutoX setups and I just wanted to know things like how big the course would be.

I really hope I get to this event because it has been like 3 months since the last autoX I went to.

That would be terrific. Better than dropping by and getting a ride would driving it yourself. The event limit is 100 cars and I hear it is filling up pretty quickly. Quick! If you haven't already done it, join the BMW car club and sign up to drive!

Johnna, do you have any photographers that regularly come to the event?
If not, would love to be on-site for your events for 2010.

Cliff Lawson comes to the events pretty regularly.

His website is http://clifflawson.photostockplus.com

Here is a picture he took of me. I like that he caught the wheel lift in the shot.
