KW have made some!!!
These are the pics of the V3 prototype from German tuner Gigamot's tees car - they should be available to customers within the next 6 weeks I am told. No dates or info on the V1 or V2 though! I was hoping to go with the 'basic' V1's, but the wait may get the better of me depending on the price of these!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fingers crossed things speed up! ![]() |

Bit of a duplicate post, as I've just updated my project thread, but for those who are interested, here's the first set of KW coils in the UK for the F56!!
Many thanks to my pal George for sourcing me these - if anyone is interested in cheap KW coils, he is the man to speak to! ![]() Unboxed a front strut and they seem to have replicated the indent from the OEM suspension which should hopefully mean I can get my 18x8 ET45 wheels on without a spacer (they currently fit fine on the OEM set up) ![]() Indent on the KW's: ![]() Indent on the OEM's: ![]() |

Don't want to make duplicate posts, but for those who don't follow my project thread, here is an update on the KW coils.
I got mine fitted today and they are pretty much as low as they will go! ![]() The good news for F56 owners is that I can confirm that 18x8 ET45 with 205/40/18 tyres DOES NOT need a spacer (with KW coils at least, I can't comment on the BC's.) The bad news is that this set up is pretty much as aggressive as you can really go without encourtering unesscary headaches with fitment. The fronts rub slightly on full lock when negotiating heavily cambered roads / drives at medium to low speeds, but its fine everywhere else. This will be solved with camber plates as and when they are available to order. Camber plates will be essential as currently I can only get -0.4 degrees camber with the stock set up. The rears don't seem to rub at all and I've had -2.4 degrees of camber dialled in, which obviously helps. I started with the Sport Suspension + NM springs. Couple months ago I upgraded to BC Racing coil overs w/camber plates. They were a marked improvement, but wanted something better still. I just ordered the first set of F56 coil overs from Jan at RMW. Should be in hand in a couple of weeks and installed soon after. First pics are the BC Racing and the last one is a set of Jan's with custom Swift springs that's very similar to mine. Obviously the camber plates will have a different shape.
