Default Fire Ball Tim's MINI at Southbay

I'm pretty sure most of you so cal people already know but if you don't the famous drag racing MINI is on display at Southbay MINI in Torrance.....................at least I think it's still there. I know they had it last week and I think it's going to stay there for a little while so it should still be there. Anyways I'm going to try to go check it out tonight maybe around 8ish. I would take pictures but I don't have a camera. Oh yeah and if anybody want to meet me there your more than welcome to.

I don't know how 'famous' it is but I thought it was pretty well known in the MINI community. It's a red MINI S that fbtr built to be a drag car. I've seen some pics of it and it looks pretty crazy. It has a pretty big turbo and even has this super nice custom built fmic. They ran the car a couple of weekends ago and I think is made low 10's............I think.

the car should be there until the weekend at least. they're having their own toys for tots event.... there's 10% of all mini accessories according to the flyer they sent me in the mail (dec 10th... 10am to 1 pm only).

Naw, it's the M600, Fireball Tim Racing's drag project car. It's got extensive carbon body work, and Hubie's twincharging stuff w/ a fully rebuilt engine. Too bad it's not set up for time attack!

Best time was 11.26 @ 121 without n20. And just for the record the engine is STOCK with the exception of the pistons, and isnt a freshly rebuilt motor. It actually has a bit of mileage on it :-) then there is the turbo and the parts that support the turbo but for the most part stock engine parts just like the ones in everyone elses cooper S.

When it comes back out for next year it will be making more power and we are looking for a much better time, not that what we have done already is even remotely shabby.

For the foreseeable future ( at least a month or so ) the MINI USA M600 Flamethrower will be in the showroom at south bay mini.

NARDO, Pm me some info on your bad experience at south bay and I will find out who what and why if I can. They have been great for us, even before the m600 came to be. Everyone deserves great service and I know south bay mini wants to deliver.

Yep FWD. I hope someone posts pics of it. The front tires are so meaty ...........not sure what size but by far the biggest tires on a MINI. It looks real good.
