My uncle offered to sell me his sportster really cheap. So I have been playing on photoshop trying to decide if I could make it into a bike more my taste. Here is what I came up with. I kinda dig it. Watcha think?

badass
but those pipes aren't that great power wise try these

There is a lot of cutting and fabrication work to get from that before to the after. If you get it you'll have to pm me so I can hook you up with parts. Not to mention make it faster than any other Sporty out there (if you want).

What are the stats on his? 1200? 883? what year? (professional curiosity)

This is as low as they go (883 Iron)

That's a great photoshop. I wonder if you'd be better off getting a bike that was set up more like what you want. Not saying this couldn't work, but you might end up spending more money and you could have had something better. Maybe?

Yea, the exhaust is just a visual model. I'll probably fab my own. Thanks for the tip though. 2003 883 I believe.

cool the 2003 will give you some flexibility as its carbureted. if you do decide to get it definitely let me know—since I sell H-D parts at a discount .

if it is an 03 the paintset that is on it is v.i.n. protected so changing it would involve new tins to protect the investment. the fuel tank in particular you can't get as it is now without the existing medallions going back to the dealer (whole tank goes back if its an '03 with decals instead of metal medallions)

Jesus, I am not normally a fan of sport bikes with all their farings and plastic pieces, but damn I have to respect that.
