Hi all, I recently purchased my 2008 Mini Cooper. I'm going to be honest, I know nothing about cars! So I'm here to read all of your insight thoughts and suggestions! (Which I already had a bit)



And I'm planning to put these on!



15x8 + 25

Going with 205/50/15 tires which were recommended from the wheels guy, and it seems the posts I've read here, it should be fine. But they aren't recommended by The Tire Rack guys.
I do like that, that size tires lowers the car a bit, no need for springs I guess!

Hopefully, one day, my car ends up like all of the beauties I've seen so far on here.

COngrats on your new ride, the pictures aren't working however. Hate to say it, but 15's + smaller tires are gonna look terrible on a non-lowered car...

That depends on what you plan to do with the car. i would just fill it up so there is no gap.

Congrats on the MINI! Check out my signature (Trouble) for what 16x9 with 205/45s look like on 16s. 15's will be hard to pull off right, but if you get some quality coils or an air setup, it's possible!

I'm really not planning to do much. Rims and lowering it basically. Not sure with just lowering springs or coilovers. It's basically just going to do some daily drive duties.
