Check out how small 3mm is and you'll see that you'll have very little trouble running 9 et22 in the rear.

If you're talking 17x8 et20 up front, they'll poke a decent amount. Check out thewanderers car for a visual. Pretty much the same specs to what you're considering.

17x8 ET20 205/40 17x9 ET26 215/40 KW coilovers will be used.

I have TSW plates up front and H-sport control arms with my KW V1 coils. Other than some crazy rattling gremlins in the rear, no issues. The rattling is pretty bad and I've had a few people look and no one can find the cause.

Ok, help me find tires.
I ordered Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 et 45 17x7. Out Motoring had a whole slew of ETs to choose from but said this worked best for MINI fitament, so I'm hoping that's the case. Now I'm wrestling with tire sizes: 215/40 225/40 ???/?? Car is currently at OEM ride height.

I run a 215/40/17 and I have to say, I love the look and the they fit well with my car lowered on TSW springs.

I have a 2007 R56 MCS. It's currently at stock ride height. I will be getting coilovers in the future but will be driving around at stock height for a while.
I'm about to order some Rota RB's and wanted to make sure I was getting the right size. How does the following look? I'm looking at: Rota RB's 16x8, 4x100, 57.1, 35 offset What would be the best tire for this setup? 205/50? 215/50? I want to make sure the same tire will work at stock ride height as well as lowered. Thanks! |

Offset is good. Do you want stretch on the tires? The problem with fitting it will arise with the tires. If they're too tall, you might rub once you lower the car. Other guys will have more info, but most of them are away this week. Glen should have some good advice too.
