Weird, in the dark mine looks the same shade. Never thought AstroBlack had that blueish of a tint.

Yeah I thought that too, but seems like they did a few in the Astro Black. Strangely enough the dash and door trim is in Space Blue which is a cool change. It was the last one on the show room before the R56s came in so didn't have much choice anyway.

What is next, hmm. I am going to work on the suspension a lot, including coilovers, control arms etc. My goal is to slam it and put wider rims on it with the stretched tyre look. Much like those VW Dubbers you see on the net.

In the past 24 hours we have gotten around 100 mm of rain, so 4 inches. Its pouring down with tones of road closures, floods and power outages and has been declared the wettest day in 17 years.

My lil car sits outside mostly covered under a veranda, as she isn't privileged enough to live in the garage (thats for the parent's cars). She has been getting very wet on the left side and bonnet, and to my relief there is not one drop of moisture on the inside of the headlights. The joey mod was a success!

Nice and wet. Ill try to get some photos of Daisy in the rain.

We were considered to be in a drought 5 days ago.

Nice mate! Not usually a fan of polished wheels on a car, but that looks great.

A fellow member let his wife drive his mini (yellow one pictured earlier). He took his other toy on the run.

I have a choice to make, need some input. I know I said I was doing suspension mods next but ...

A local club mini member in my area (Brisbane, AUS) is selling his OBX header. Specs are as follows:
- High flow sport cat already welded in
- Ceramic paint coated
- Only done a total of 500 kms with it
- Donut style flex joint
- Asking $650 AUS = $523 US

Only thing I would have to change is that it has a 3 bolt flange for the exhaust mount, my magnaflow is 2 bolt.

I feel that this is way too good of an offer to pass on considering I'm still running a stock header, plus a header shipped from the USA will easily be double that price. Any thoughts? Thanks guys!

On the count of the thing being brand spankin' new(500km, dayum) I'd say go for it, especially if your current suspension set-up is adequate

A small bear could get caught in my front wheels but I can live with it for now.

Bear cubs aren't that bad. Carry a baseball bat for protection.
