Default G'Day from Down Under

Can't believe I haven't done this already, but since its all the rage why not.

First a bit about me:
My name is Ben, aka 07BPB. I was born in Sydney, then at the age of 1 moved to Boston, then 6th months later to San Diego, 4 years later to Houston, then 8 years later to Brisbane Australia. Im an Aussie at heart but still have an American accent, hence my friends here call me America.

Now for the car:
Im a mini enthusiast, and have been since I learned what a car was. When ever my dad went to look at cars I would browse the Mini Garage admiring them. The day I got my R50 aka 'Daisy' was an awesome day, shame it was raining the second it left the showroom. I officially had her in my hands on March 6th, 2007 and if your wondering why her name is Daisy (of all things), she came from the "Daisy Hill Mini Garage" and had Daisy written on her number plate frame. A couple months after I got her the modding bug bit me, now I can not stop.

So in conclusion... I enjoy long walks on the beach, Minis and M|U.

Heyy. I'm an Aussie, too. I was born in North Richmond, NSW and moved to Illinois of all places when I was 1, and then moved another 8 times after that. Haha. I still plan on goin back some day soon to visit, and I haven't ruled out the idea of living there yet, either. Still a citizen, so I still to this day tell everyone I'm Australian. lol

EDIT: On a side note... PLEASE tell me you've heard of Hilltop Hoods? Australian rap group? NO ONE I have ever met has heard of them and I have limited amounts of friends from Down Under. lol

Yo stranger..

MtyMous - Hilltop Hoods are pretty big here....if you're in to Australian music, you could stream Triple J or download their podcasts: http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/

Hilltop Hoods Live in the JJJ studio:

For the locals on this forum, here's one of their tracks...with a vid of a guy doing wikkid mad tricks on his bike - they're rad to the power of sick!

AHHH!!! You guys are the first to know what the hell I'm talkin about.

Oh, and Tit.. I have all of their stuff. I mean.. all of it. haha. Anything I can get my hands on. I was drivin around and listening to Hilltop and my friend was like "Dude.... WHO IS THAT?!" haha I just laughed and said "This is REAL Hip-Hop". I can't STAND the rap on the adio here in the US. It's all mumbling and cussing about hoes and bitches, getting drunk and Getting high. No real meaning to anything they say. That's why I love Hilltop. They are highest on my list right now and will be there for a long time.

"Recapturing the Vibe" and "1979" are currently in my Mini and play on loop. haha It's from their 99 album, but I don't care. They still rock my face off.

07BPB - I remember when I first got the sig, when I was tired it would occasionally draw me in and I'd catch myself staring at it...

Yeah...music's a real subjective thing....I'm not really into any RnB/rap/whatever derivatives....but I can listen to the Aussie stuff because it generally dosen't take itself too seriously....mostly amusing lyrics....I guess the closest equiv in the US is Eminem...
