Not to mention those fiberglass noses are actually longer than the stock ones. Using a bike engine still gives more power than you could ever want and they fit without modification.

That would be pretty cool, but i am very much into the classic mini race cars. I love how just nostalgic they are. So i will probably stick pretty much original stuff into it. I am not positive about the engine as of yet Most of the styling cues will be very much classic mini.
I ave a spare cooper S engine that i have thought about putting carbs on and thowing in, but i am not sure how i could work an ignition system and everything else. I want it to be pretty raw sounding and feeling. |

FYI, the Honda B16 an B18 WILL FIT under stock sheet metal. It's REALLY tight, but will fit. There are cheaper kits out there, but the one I'm using is the MTB2 from MiniTec. My car isn't finished yet, but hopefully by the end of summer it will be.

If all goes well you'll be able be see it in action next year at Minis on the Dragon. That's the plan at the moment.
