Default R56 camber plates

I am looking for camber plates this what I have found so far:

IE $275 cheap but how good are they?
http://www.detroittuned.com/shop/?productID=155

TSW plates $459 any thoughts?
http://www.txwerks.com/servlet/Detail?no=265

SPC plates (price unknown?) these are caster and camber plates unlike all the other options (Where the hell do you buy these?)
http://www.spcperformance.com/PROD_D...d2=67630&cmd3=

Vorshlag Camber Plates 399.99
http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop...er_plates.html
others?
Thoughts?

TIA? (I need more question marks)

Sorry for not responding to your PM yet. I ended up just calling SPC for mine. They directed me to a local distributor and I ordered through them. I can't remember what I paid, but I think they go for around $3xx. I was very pleased with them.

No problem I know you were busy getting your car to go lower.

Default New addition to the search.

Vorshlag Camber Plates 399.99
http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop...er_plates.html

Thoughts?

I am still trying to find a SPC dealer. I called SPC and they gave me 3 dealers in the area none of which had any idea what I was talking about.

vorshlag = tsw don't they? I believe outmotoring just went straight to the supplier because that's how the MINI community works

I'd have to agree with Rally, those look almost identical to the TSW plates I have.

TSW = $60 buck mark up!!?

Shape is the same and they both also have the Blue colored ring in the spring perch.

It's not like it's hidden or speculation. TSW even says they sourced them from vorshlag. I was just pointing it out

Our kit uses both a massive spherical bearing and a rotating bearing from Vorshlag along with two 1/4 inch upper plates.

I know, I noticed the comment about the spherical bearing and rotating bearing being sourced from Vorshlag, but looking at them side by side it's more like the whole kit, and an additional $60 bucks..

My set looks slightly different..
Since one side is completely straight instead of being angled. These are for the R53 though so that explains the different shape.

Yah that's the difference between r56's and 53's. That and the bolt spacing.

TSW and Vorshlag are the exact same. TSW did the all design work, Vorshlag bought the company and patent for the bearing. TSW dropped AST due to some quality and customer service issues. Vorshlag told TSW to pound sand and stopped selling them the Camber Plate too as Vorschlag said either buy AST too or buy nothing. TSW is in the process or redesigning the camber plates and whatever stock is on hand it's whats left of the current design. Voeschlag cut the price to try and bend over TSW. Out of principle I'd not buy from Vorschlag even if they were the absolute best and were a buck.

The funny bit is they both in North Texas and see each other at Track, AtoX and BMW CCA social events. Not exactly the best way to deal with your neighbors. Imagine how they, Vorschlag, would deal with someone they would probably never see in person...
