This car deserves good tires. The wheels I bought had brand new tires on them, but they're Nankangs that are a few years old. The first day I had them on I wondered what was wrong with the car because it snapped around terribly. I'm putting some money aside for 225/40 and 255/35 Micheln Pilot Super Sport tires that I hope to be able to buy within the next month or so. I can't wait to feel a good tire under this car!

Nankangs? Thought those were Federal 595s. They're a bit noisy & drift very well.

those tires need to be summer only and need to be warmed up a good amount.

Coilovers on. Went with ST. Quality is great. Need a proper shoot soon.

Spent the week at Fontana. A few good runs on the Dragon as well. These cars really do not need much to handle great.

Looks so good! Natural question, how does it compare against Spike?

BRZ hands down. BRZ only has ST coilovers with Heavy but wide wheels and tires. Even the brakes are all stock. No drama on the Dragon as long as the traction control was on, off its a bit tail happy ( I mean fun ). The BRZ could use some better pads and some fluid. But in the power delivery and cornering department I love it.

That said the R53 with lots of mods felt slower but more exciting to drive into a turn.

Don't you miss Spike? Seemed like you just gave it up after running all the great identity-iteration options out.
