Yup, and they put a lot of work into the animations.

Aliens spurt green slime when you shoot 'em.

If a zombie barfs on you, you fall over and die, then a lightning bolt hits you and you become a zombie.

If you eat too many food-shaped points, you get fat and slow until you find a DIET item.

I have all of the Metal Slug's on my arcade machine. I wish the Neo-Geo MVS carts of the Metal Slug's weren't so dang expensive cause I'd like to have a couple for that too. I do have the First Mission for the Neo-Geo Pocket. Metal Slug is good stuff! You ever play Gunstar Heroes for the genesis? Very similar but not such good graphics.

So I picked up GT4 again. Played a lot of that this weekend. The Mini is still my most fun car to drive.

Nope, Treasure. It's available on the Wii's Virtual Console. Like a cross between Contra and Metal Slug. You use combinations of 4 different weapons. Like say, a seeking bullet & a lighting bolt will go out and hit an enemy til it's dead. Or you can combine them differently and they'll fire differently (sorry I can't remember any other combinations right now...) Check it out if you get a chance.

Forget about that one. How about Killer Instinct? I've been wanting to play that game for awhile now.
