Default his + hers

Hiya,

most people here think we've totally lost it, but tell you what, I don't care

We traded in my wifes Mercedes for a new ride, but let me first show you the old one

That was our 2003 Mercedes Benz A170CDI. It was roomy, very flexible as you could fold up and take out the rear seats as well as the front passenger seat and as it was a diesel it was great on the mileage (~40mpg). It was a Mercedes so it was comfortable and well engineered. But it was still a diesel and with 95hp it was definitely not a fast mover.

What shall I say, we traded in the good boy for a second MCS

So here she is:

She's one of the last 06 MCS parklane in astro black with silver roof and all the goodies: 5-Star Bullet wheels, 6 airbags, xenon lights, sunroof, automatic a/c, rain sensor, heated washers, mirrors, windshield, automatic rear view mirror, harman/kardon-soundsystem and some more small goodies...

And yes, she's definitely a girl, she was 2 days late and we had quite a struggle to get her
My wife named her Lady Heather

Oh yes, and here is the his+hers-shot, which I snapped just after the test drive:

Cheers,

Scotty

Well yes, it was a great car, but not with the diesel engine. 95hp was not enough for a car with the aerodynamics of a fridge.

The clutch was a major nuisance, as it was far to small for the torque of the diesel engine. We changed the clutch after about 18.000 miles and the second one was starting to show signs of decomposition at now 36.000 miles. Changing the clutch takes two days and costs roughly 3000USD on parts.
So yes, great car, but with a few weak spots

The A210 Evolution is a hell of a ride though

A shame the current A-Series MB ( W169 ) is not as good looking as the model we had ( W168 ).

But life's much easier with a second MINI in the driveway with the basement stacked with all the spare parts for MINIs

actually the triple six is sort of a family tradition

Except for 3 or 4 all of our cars had the triple six on the plate.
Comes with the responsibility of being the black sheep of the family

They are both cool. I once dreamed of a Mercedes and still quite interested since Ive heard that they are adding safety with their vehicle, involving the Mercedes Benz Mirror. Has anyone heard of it? The six radar sensors? Anyways, I love that new one! Enjoy the ride!
