yep....that's the venue. It's a nice setup b/c the viewing area is up on a hill, but, max speed is about 40mph and the course can be tough to nail down.

thanks! I try to make tweaks here and there that make sense. I think the key is when you make a bad call, don't be afraid to say 'f it...it's coming off the car'. Cut your losses and make it right.

Agree 100% Ive had my fair share of bad calls. I used to have the chrome scoop, mirrors, grill, and even a freakin chrome antenna for chromes sake . Glad I finally entered the dark side.

If you dont mind me giving my opinion. I think you going back to black mirror caps will help balance everything out.

not hating, just admiring your admirable skills of rationalizing an irrational purchase. I've been considered an expert myself.

not sure. I'm working out pricing on some new satin black ones. So, I might take these off, clean and detail the car and then live without stripes for a bit and see how it works.

I dont know man. I think the red pinstriping really works w/ your car. I like the fact that you even have it extend to the "wing" from michiganmini. Devils in the details.

/\ exactly. I like it clean and I like it the way it is now. The red pinstripes on the roof really make it 'pop'.

the striping job that Aesthetic Creations did was honestly pretty sloppy. The cut edges are not clean and don't always cover 100% (a bit short at the hood, the boot handle, etc). I'd like to redo it to my standards....probably should have done it as a DIY like everything else, but the DCMM crew talked about AC like they were super-talented so I figured I'd be in good hands.

spares? or a real change? I say, keep 'em, and "re-chrome" the car.

no chrome, sorry

I'm selling the summer tires off these and will use them for my winter set. I've always loved R98's and finally scored a set at a great price.

I've seen a few people paint the centers body color. I just got the anthracite SSR's for auto-x, so, I think these will need to be different (or just leave them silver....they look awesome despite not being integral to the scheme of the car).

Glen painted his black with a white barrel, those are hot. Obviously that won't work on your car, but get body matched paint from www.minspeed.net, paint the centers gloss or matte black, and the barrels body color.
