Default Need your opinions guys....Interior this time

So I don't have a whole lot done to my interior and am tired of looking at the stock fabric print that is on the door panels. It use to match the print used on the stock seats, but I now have gray Corbeau CR1 seats in their place.

So since I am going with a TON of European mods and I love the whole Euro/VW scene I decied I wanted to go with a plaid fabric. I'm not going to go crazy with it. I just want to cover the door inserts, and maybe a few other small areas and the panel on the inside of the hatch. I'm only looking for plaids that are gray, black, white, and red. A bright blue, green, or yellow just won't go well with my car. So I need your help with helping me decide which fabric to go with. Not sure if I want to go with one that is more authentic to the VW scene or one that would go better with my car.

This one is probably the closest to a classic VW print

B. Click the image to open in full size.
This one probably goes best with my car since it's dark grey on the exterior and has a light grey interior.

Hard to tell from the pic, but the description for this one says it has a navy blue in it so not sure how good that will look in person. Looks to be fairly dark though so I think it could still look good.

This one is my least favorite I think. The pattern might be too large for the small items I am covering also.

those look like plaid flannel fabric which will ball up something fierce from getting in and out of your car daily. you need to get a hold of some TWILL plaids. also be sure to ask your source to cut you 4" swatches for your reference so you can feel and hold and see in real life what the colors and quality are. i would also ask for tighter weaves for durability. you can even ask them if they can brush or "peach" the fabric for it to be a little softer/buttery to the touch.

patternwise, i like c.

The man knows his stuff, so this is probably advice you'll want to consider. I like B the best though for the same reason you mentioned.

I thought you were done with the polls? We're going to have to limit you to one poll per quarter or something.

I'm with glen on the flannel. The patterns themselves also remind me a bit too much of flannel rather than plaid.

How about some houndstooth?

All I could find was white/black and blue/black at this upholstery shop.
