Default Back in the saddle again

Some of the 'old timers' around here may remember my car from 05-06. I had a well-rounded '02 Electric Blue MCS that, to this day, I kick myself for getting rid of:

I also posted up that I was working on this. It's a 91 240sx. It's undergone several facelifts and many changes over the years. and settled on what you see below.

As it progressed, the car went from being red, to black, to green (then I hit a wall at the track) white, and finally, earlier this year, I settled on Caribbean Blue from the Infiniti G35. It makes loads more power than it did in the 'before' picture and has been a consistently fun and reliable car.

The past few days I've spent a bunch of time on here reading people's Garage threads and re-familiarizing myself with things. This week I'm picking up an '03, one owner, 70k miles Black/White MCS. I'm beyond thrilled to be getting back into it. It stinks to see a lot of the market on parts has gone away from these models, but it's understandable with the tons of newer variants. I look forward to getting involved with the community again and to enjoy the motoring experience again!

Welcome back to the party . I am still humping the same old 02 that I had when you were here back in the day.

Picked it up on Tuesday! Beyond stoked. Still driving back and forth to work with a stupid grin on my face.

Took a quick shot of the engine bay on the 240 as well as that's completely different than back when I was around last:

240 looks good, love to see one that is all one color. I've got one that takes more after the MINI than it's JDM siblings.

Very cool! Is that the Xterra supercharger? I'd love to run a setup like that in a 240.

Yup, should rip. Made the kit ourselves after studying pics online and got a great deal on a $200 supercharger with 70K on it on Ebay. Should be running in the next few weeks and tuned shortly thereafter. We've got a handful of events left this year, so hopefully we don't blow it up too early.

haha Thanks Samtrak and LowCountry. I couldn't stay gone forever. I went through a bunch of daily drivers...but the attraction was too strong! Found a killer deal on it and couldn't resist. Glad to see you both are still kickin it around here.
