I will not do a solid black wheel. It's either with a lip or not black at all.

I've got some feeler e-mails out to some places to see what colors are available at the present time but I am leaning more towards the gloss black/polished lip, though that doesn't seem to be too popular here... Oh well. I never really ran with the popular crowd anyway.:wink0:

I kinda like black/ polished lip wheels. Its your Mini though, final decision should be what you really like.

Yeah, I guess we're biased, coming from Southern California. Everybody and their mom here has black + polished lip on any car ranging from a busted-ass Tercel to a blingin' black Escalade.

That must just be the difference in east coast & west. The Black/polished is just kinda making it over here.

I'm still up in the air though. I'm going to photoshop some stuff up. Hopefully that will help some.

Oh and melissa.... you're funny.

i think you shoul do dark dark red, like blood red...kinda like the color on the boards here, the derker red parts...with a little glass...the whole wheel in that color would look sexy as shit on a dark silver car...mmmmmmm

Alright so I played around a bit last night and came up with this first pic of my car with Tenzo-R Mean Six wheels. I couldn't find a decent pic of the Grids in black but you get the idea. I like this but...

The more I look at this pic though I love the look of that car. It's almost exactly what I want my car to look like so I think I'm going to bite the bullet and wait on the gunmetal grids. Got an e-mail yesterday that it could be up to 10 weeks.

It might be. I don't remember where I got this pic from. Somewhere on NAM.

The red's would look slick but I'm trying to keep the car in a silver to black color scheme. Red would be too much.

That IS Randy's car. That's at a certain overlook we all know and love.

Those are the LE-37's I was talking about. Gunmetal with polished lip. He sold them to Chris, which is why they're now on his red MC40 at Steve's.

So that wing is custom... hmmm, Damn.

That's just it, over here everyone's just got chromy bullshit so I would actually be very different, and most of the mini's I see or meet up with have stock wheels. I think I know of 1 fellow local mini owner with aftermarket wheels. Ya'll must have too big a scene that you have to be really out there to be different. Jam on the green wheels though. That would look hot on ol' Winston. Give him some flair.

And just so I'm straight since I've never talked to Randy, he's the one with the huge Diamond air subs in the back and was on CSI, upcoming Euro Tuner article, etc. right... That car is sweet!
