that is awesome!!!!

and yeah! so many contractors and professionals have been to our house lately. the first fence estimate for 76' of fence with two gates was $3500 for chain link/ $4500 for cedar. i have a guy coming at 2pm and then another tomorrow and one on monday because that seemed WAY expensive.

in other news, our roof is done today! GOOD FRIDAY IS GOOD.

and i just got an outdoor motion sensor light installed on the back deck. sometimes i am ashamed that i can't DIY these things, but my ex DIY'ed them wrong so i am happy to pay someone to do a good job and then use them again for new things... like track lighting for the kitchen!

Yeah.. I hear you TBE.
We are going through the same thing with the different jobs going on here.
Shop around more for the fence, I just had 417' of ceder full privacy 6' fencing installed with 6" posts around 3 sides and the 4" posts on the rear. This also included 3 gates, 2 five' gates and one 4' gate. Ran me 11k. You can probably get that price down.

I picked up some flat black paint for the island, and some chalkboard paint for the side of my cabinet. Too much wood going on, and I thought this broke it up a little bit
