The first bike will be at MINI United. I hope the make one that isn't a fixed gear, I hate those things.

Yeah, exactly... Just one speed. One sprocket up front, and a freewheel in the back. As EveryTimeIDie mentioned, it won't be a "fixed gear" bike, where the rear sprocket does not freely spin.

I wouldn't say a fixie gives you more control in the city... Brakes work much better if someone cuts in front of you

I think I know what you mean though... Speed control is a little easier, and maybe sitting at lights without putting your foot down, etc.
