Default SlowPaul's Not slow '14 Ford Fiesta ST

Let me start by saying that I really liked my Mazda2. It was a great little car. Reliable, frugal, useful, all in all, it was a great little car. I will miss it.

Fate is a spicy mistress. I scheduled a test drive last Saturday to try out a Fiesta ST. My intention was to order a stripped version of the car to replace my Mazda2 with. I was supposed to drive a fully-loaded model, but upon my arrival, I was asked if I wanted to drive the (one I requested) or the white one, which arrived the night before....

The white ST was almost exactly what I wanted, it's only option was painted wheels. After driving it, and talking it over with the misses, I once again joined the Ford family.

So after 380ish miles, I can not really put into words how to describe just how raw and awesome this car is. I'm completely over the moon.

This thing is a factory hot rod. A lot of the mods I would do to this car are done already. I'm happy with the power and the suspension tuning. So I wanna get some more miles on it before I decide what it needs, if anything.

Love it!

The front looks remarkably similar to an Aston Martin.

I hit 500 miles this evening. Recommended break-in is complete. Overboost feature is pretty sweet, albeit short. I took the Fiesta home on the scenic route tonight, and I gotta say that this things got some serious balls.
