haha, i remember seeing that broke status car at the socal euro gtg.

i dunno what it is, but there's something about a roof rack that makes a hatchback look soooooo much cooler.

btw, I think Ol' Yeller's butt is hot haha. definitely needs something else black back there though *cough*bumperstrip*cough*

Haha, thanks Nardo... Yeah, after Dave mentioned that, I've been playing around in photoshop. I may have to get some black 3M tape and do some experimentation.

i iike the rack! the hatch handle in black is a nice touch but i agree with nardo, it does need something else back there and the bumperstrip seems to be an obvious answer.

lookin good mister miles, lookiin good

Thanks dude! I just bought a fork-mount bike rack attachment for it too... It wasn't the factory attachment. It's a universal one that has a lock built in and everything. It's pretty nice.

It's an Inno brand attachment...

Just got another bike attachment for the OEM racks... The Thule V2.

This thing works way better than the Inno attachment I had before. It's a WAYYYY cleaner look too. It slides right into the groove on the top of the racks, since the new Thule "Aero" bars are very similar. The only catch with the OEM MINI cross-bars are that you need an additional 1" wide washer on the inside because of a slight size difference.

I will have some photos later to compare and stuff... I want to make a good rack guide for MINIs since there really isn't much out there.

Well, the power steering pump/fan/motor assembly died. $1900. I want my car payment back.

I'm extremely close to fixing this issue and selling the car.
