Nope.... Kind of old school....

Bought one of those ice cream scoops that have the capsule of antifreeze in the handle.... Emptied it out and use it to produce a sand cast form..... Locally there is a fellow I use to create the rough aluminum sand castings.... He has a "Glory hole" in the dirt floor of his foundry used to make the slugs.... I polish it up and tap the two posts for 1/4-20 threads...

A great way to make low volume parts....

I have a few rentals I own and they are located in a historic area of town.... I didn't like the store bought building numbers.... I wanted something that fit the age of the building.... So I had him cast individual number plates for each rental... This fellow does aluminum, brass and German silver.....

One of my number plates...

Thanks.... It was fun meeting with the ice cream company representative... They wanted something unique that would get the attention of the customers walking into the store for an ice cream... It worked out well for them.... Now it's a signature handle used on all their shops...

Here is the first one I did for the shop where I live....

It's hard to see, but the front entrance has a double door and one pull is one each door...:D

That number looks oddly familiar for some reason.

A nice lady stopped by the shop today....

She wanted mild steel panels cut to replace the stock panels on the front of her double door refrigerator...

She wanted some steel baby faces attached to the door panels.... These heads are actually molds for making doll heads that were rejected....

Love your work though.

Yeah..... But I never pass judgement on my customers....

Bank deposits don't care....:D

I'm going to have nightmares about those doors. Awesome job though.

She's an "Artist"...

Made a bunch of stuff for her house over the years... She just sold it and has now moved into a new place.... So the process begins again...

Been invited to dinner at her new place, but something always comes up....:D

Made this modern style stainless steel "french bump out" kitchen sink for her a while back, so she's a nice repeat customer....
