Puma: The Sequel | Return of the MINI
It was a classic love story; one told around the world and throughout the ages - with minor plot variations, of course.

Boy meets car. Boy gets car. Boy mods car. Boy makes friends through, in, and around car. Boy loves car. Boy has problems with car. Boy still loves car. Boy needs money. Boy sells car. Boy misses car terribly...

It was inevitable, really. Once something that you felt was part of you is lost, the hole left behind is almost impossible to fill. You try other cars, mod them, go to meets, join clubs, then mod them some more, but it just never feels right. Then, one year, five months, and twenty-four days later, it finally happened:

Boy buys car...

In what will arguably be the proudest moment of my life for the next 5 years, I took delivery of my 9-mile old 2015 MINI Cooper Countryman S All4 at 6:45pm today! I can't believe it, but I'm back in the MINI game! It was hard to say goodbye to Trouble, but now, Stella is parked comfortably in my garage and by this time tomorrow, I will have done my first two mods to her.

I couldn't be more excited to be back, but more importantly, I'd like to formally introduce my new baby, Stella!

Obligatory "look what I just did" photo

The (pertinent) specs:
- Jungle Green with Black Roof/Mirrors
- City Pack
- LED Fog Lights
- Black Headlamp Housings
- Anthracite Headliner
- Manual (in San Francisco?! Of course.)
- Harman/Kardon Sound System
- MINI Short Antenna
- JCW Sport Wheel, Leather with Alcantara
- JCW Shift Knob

The plan:
By tomorrow PM:
- Debadge
- Plastidip side markers

Down the road:
- 19" Rotiform BLQs
- KW coils (V3 was a front runner, but I don't plan to track the car and do mostly city driving)
- Tint
- Euro arches
- MINI Delta grille
- Skid plate
- Flat load floor
- Rally/ off road lights
- Exhaust
- Downpipe
- Intake
- ECU tune
- Other performance mods

I'm still just getting back into the scene, and there's lots to catch up on. I'll do my reading and keep you all updated as we go! Hope to meet up with some m|u peeps in the Bay Area soon!

Thanks all! 60 hours into ownership, and I've put 230+ miles on it. It's ridiculous how much I love this car already.

Im hanging out in the parking lot while my girlfriend gets her mom's horse ready for a dressage show, removing the badges. Damn tape they used is leaving crazy residue. Goo Gone? What's best for that?

Spray it with WD-40... Let it sit for awhile... Maybe an hour before wiping it with a soft cotton T shirt...

Very nice! Love the color and it sounds like you'll be making some nice upgrades. :tu:

Aaaaaand that's better. "C O U N T R Y M A N," "Cooper S," and "All4" badges removed. Took off the front grille "S" as well. Thinking I need to get some gloss black vinyl for the headlight washer things now.

Now, for those pesky arch lights... Anyone know how to take them off without snapping all the little clips?

Photoshop of 19" BLQs and "lowered" MINI. Front works, but the back needs to come down.

Welcome back.

Love the green. :)

I had to take off the front arches on mine and it was a pain from memory. Can't remember what I did to get them off either sorry!

21k miles in, and I still haven't done any mods. Putting that kind of mileage on a car so quickly makes it hard to want to start messing with things, as does the warranty... I actually just got a new clutch put in (under warranty), so that was interesting, but otherwise, no real issues to report. It's still super fun to drive, and I love being able to take 5 people places instead of just me and a passenger.

Anyway, here's a picture I took to commemorate the 20k mileage mark.
