Default Marconi Auto Museum - Tutin CA

I stumbled upon this place while looking for some rainy day activities while my dad was visiting. What's funny is that the museum is about 3 blocks from my place and i've never been there. I looked on their site and figured we'd take a chance.

We arrived and walked into the main hall... man were we in for a treat. Scope it...

Sorry for some of the editing, my pops wanted me to post all of my shots so some of the shots are so so and i got pretty bored with the editing, so i did some weird stuff.

I know man... I was shocked when we walked in the door. Entry is only $5 too!!!!

We should make an event of it some time in the next few weeks.

As far as the cars... all of them are in immactulate but driven condition. Their Shelby GT-350 track car was the real deal. If you stick your head under the car you can see where some one had a serious off and pounded the bottom with gravel. Also the schumacher F1 car is a real deal running car that he ran in one of his championship runs. They've also got a Senna F1 car on the wall which blew me away.

It was really cool going to an auto museum with no ropes or anything and the staff was friendly enough to open hoods and stuff. Too cool!

Hell yeah man, that sounds great. I'd love to see the XJ220 in person as I've always had a soft spot for them.

Damn, that's a sweet collection.

The Tipo F310 (1996 Ferrari F1 car) is in all likeliness chassis 168 which was never ran in a race by Schumacher. Edie Irvine raced it in the beginning of '96 and then Schumacher used it as a test mule for development later in the year. It is the first Schumacher era car and first Ferrari F1 car to have the V10 though.

Nice shots! Looks like you could get up close and personal with the cars, IE, no ropes. And, it didn't look very crowded.

very cool shots of some serious hardware! it's nice to still find small private car museums like that; we had a couple around here, but they closed up and got sold off when the owner died.
