I just said I was a student who would pretty much beat the crap out of it using it almost everyday. and i like it. its obviously still beta, little problems here & there, but, it can deff be somthin really useful. its fast bootin up & browsing. the key board is really nice to type on too. the screen rez seems to be really good. it weighs like 4 pounds & feels really solid. the track pad is a bit quirky, & the sound has some problems, but i have looked into it, its a software thing and can be resolved with new updates. i'll let you guys know more though, ive only been dinkin with it for a few hours, & so far i like it though.

From what I understand, the CR-48 tracking site data mines UPS shipment information and makes a guess about which ones are likely to be CR-48 shipments. For example the origin and weight of the shipments are known from people who have received them. It is not accessing Google's shipment database (I'd be shocked if that were public).

Congratulations pablo! Did it come with cool stickers?

The tracker website is now closed. It was just a pet project by its creator. He posted on chromeosforums.net and explained how it worked. See posts #65 and #67 in this thread: http://www.thechromesource.com/forum....html#post1307

Nice. Thanks for the pics (Caveman) and info on the search engine (rkw). I'm hopeful still. We'll see. I'm guessing that it was acurate enough to predict that two more are scheduled to my city. I just hope I'm one of the lucky ones tomorrow. If not, oh well, and it will be interesting to see how things develop.
