Default ONE4FUN!!

Just thought I'd have to post pics of my little beast.

It's a 2006 Mini One 'slightly' modded:

Remapped engine with 125 BHP by MAINZ motorsports (just like a cooper)
Custom exhaust
APEX Springs kit (-3cm)
OMP Strut Bar
Cabrio reinforcement bars painted in red
Brakes painted red
Cooper S bumpers and sideskirts kit
De-chromed (outmotoring blackout beltline kit)
Flat black painted S-lites
Red vinyl on rear tail lights
.
...And some other minor mods (leds, JCW floor mats...)

sweet!! R50 keeps up with R56S nice car man!

I've been thinking about the cabrio reinforcement bars. Please post more pics and the process of how you did it. Do you feel handling improvements?

Yes I was

BTW, driving you don't feel so much body roll. You feel the car stiff, but I was surprised when I saw the pics!!

I didn't take photos when installing them! But it is quite simple. Just bought the two bars and 8 screws (about 30 €), sprayed them in red to colour match the OMP bar and the trickiest thing was screwing the driver side bar. You don't have to disassemble anything.

The car already has the holes to screw the bars, so all you have to do is put them into place and screw them!

Handling improves very little, but I noticed it! You have a better feeling of your front wheels, and the car understeers less. It is sharper into the corners.

Just to notice how much my baby has changed in 4 pics!

This is how it looked like when I bought it in october 2006:

First mods were Cooper S fuel cap and white side markers:

Then it was lowering time...
