Okay time for some pics. I'll have more stuff to post after this weekend but this is the best I've got for now. The shop had me parked in a handicapped spot. I think they were trying to imply something. That or my car is so great it's allowing me to ignore basic human kindness.

Is that the Eurotopia thing? I am going to that yes. So you'll be there? Have you met up with those guys before?

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I feel like I'm finally truly part of the club.

I will say though, it's taking some getting used to being a little higher than I was. I was all the way down on my coilovers before. I had to come up to accommodate the wider wheels. My new control arms let me get back to factory alignment so it drives better than the -3 camber I was running before. I miss the slight tuck I had but I like being flush too. Just adjusting to the new stance. Do you guys have thoughts?

love the wheels dude, they look great on the car. How much did you have to raise it? I can't help but think they would look better with a 205/40 tyre...I'm running BLQ's in the same fitment with 205/40's and I'm pretty low, getting no rubbing at all.

Those wheels on your MINI are outstanding. Just a great look, full stop. You made a fine choice - congrats in making it thru the long wait. I'd say it was worth it

The wheels look great! I think I'd prefer it a bit lower on 205/40 tires, but that's just me. I get what you mean about the improved handling with the alignment specs not being so aggressive.

oh no, not that one, this one http://big.socaleuro.com/2013/

but i've been to the eurotopia before. it was really nice! of course everyone was going at their own pace. some faster than others hahah. Won't be able to attend this years Eurotopia unfortunately =[

what size tires do u have on right now? I have the NUE and with 205-45, i was still able to go maxed out on my H&R coilovers..Then again, i have camber in front and rear..

So right now you have no camber correct? did you want to stay like that?

Thanks guys. I think I'll run it like this for a bit to see how it drives. See where it rubs. Right now they're 205-45, but it would probably be a good idea to do 205-40 when it's time to change tires. I took these off my old wheels since they're pretty new. I might still dial in a little extra negative camber to get a bit lower. -1.5 in back doesn't allow much low. It came up only half an inch or so I think. I should've measured. This is all pretty new to me still so every change teaches me something.

I'll have to see about the SoCal show. It looks pretty great.

What's the offset on your NUEs? And do know how much camber you have in back to go all the way down? My mechanic wasn't thrilled with the -3 I had before. So I'm aiming for a little less but enough that I can do justice to the rims. I still want it to perform well too of course.

ohhh ok, when i tracked my MINI, i believe i set my camber around 2.0-2.5 in the rear, and i was perfect flushed in the rear and front had a finger gap, and it rided very nice and firm.

my offset is 30.and now my camber in the rear is 3.5ish and front are 1.2. tucked rear and flushed front

it really depends on how low you really wanna go, pm'd me your number, i can send some pix of it right now, give you a good idea.

sorry if im not super helpful >< still a newby

That's awesome thanks. Yeah I've got about a finger gap front and rear now. My wheel specs are the the same as your NUEs. Same offset. So that's good to have a comparison. I saw on your latest thread that you're still on 205-45s? Or did you go down to 40?
