I was really hoping I'd hate the interior to make my decision easier, but nope, it's amazing.

I love the interior, and the lines of the Cooper bumpers are so much cleaner than the S

It looks to me that they've nailed the interior at least.

That, the front overhang, and the too large tail lights are what I'm having the hardest time liking.

the interior looks amazing, not digging the rear tails, or the pertruding lower grills/ ducts. i like the cooper allot more, but i dont like the headlights either, looks like its screaming.

what are all of those buttons on the speedo?

lol i also dont like that they say the cooper is faster than my r53

I like it so far, even the rear looks good on the blue one (looks "boxy" along with the bumper , that's good for me). Like many of you I like the cleaner front bumper on the Cooper.

The only thing that's driving me crazy is the lengt of the front bumper. Looks odd in the side view.

My hope of fitting my Epsilons to an F56 is fading. Are those 17s or 16s on the Cooper?

The design has a much more "weighty" look to it. Nineteen inch wheels might balance the look a great deal. Love the new interior, and the new tech they are bringing. I like what they've done here, the pedestrian nose is a tough design challenge for any manufacturer. The Mini gained 3.8" in length, a good portion of that is "dead space" in the nose.

They look like 17's to me. Did you notice that they've finally gone to a five bolt hub? Goodbye 4x100.

Edit: They've got to be 17's (or bigger). Look at them on the F56 next to MINIs with 16" wheels (the R56 & R50):

Yep I think so too. Damnit. Just when they switch to 5x120 they knock out a large portion of vintage wheels we could have run. Shit.

At least there are a lot of 18" 5x120 wheels to choose from, even if they aren't necessarily cheap.
