The toe can be a confusing one on MINIs as most don't know to do it from the front trailing arm join rather than the control arms.

45k per year makes more sense of the number of tires you were going through.

Yes I drive a ton. Luckily now I have gotten the alignment better. I also drove to big bear a ton during that time which i love to attack those mountain roads even low which probably didnt help.

Next time I decide to go low it will be on air.

Oreo is on to something here. I spent a few hours on a skid pan with the Mini and the handbrake made things so much fun.

I daily drive the car exactly how it sits in the picture. I've only had a problem driving it in the beginning because i could not get the toe dialed in, but once that was done the car barely "fish tailed".

I run a -8 in the rear and after i changed the tires the first time (from them being eaten away due to the toe) they're holding up fine. Still have to add a little bit more camber to the front so the fitment sits right but once that gets done ill update you guys on the ride quality which i'm sure wont be a such a dramatic change.

Oh and so you guys know, by no means do I "baby" my car. I drive the living shit out of it everyday.

That's paint? That's unusual. Usually it's vinyl!

And personally, I think the biggest wheels Mini's can run with a small drop is 17's. If you're staying stock height you can probably pull off 18's but I don't know about 18x9. I think if you went 17x8 and 17x9 you would be much happier. Just my two cents!

But anyway, I love it! It looks good!

Right now they are 17x8. I really want something with lip and a little stretch. I'm on coilovers too

I'd say for sure go 17's then! That or 16's if you want to go stupid low. But either way, 17x8 and 17x9 would fit nice with the right offsets. Rally pulled it off really well with his BBS LM's.
